At Lauren James Aesthetics, we only administer 1 syringe of undereye filler at a time split between both eyes typically (half per side). You can expect approximately 2-3 days of significant swelling other people will notice. The filler will start to get integrated into your tissue and the swelling will start to settle at approximately 2 weeks following the procedure. Your undereyes are fully healed and settled approximately 4-6 weeks post-procedure.

There is always a potential risk for bruising with any injectable.

This procedure can be performed with a cannula, which reduces the risk for swelling and bruising, or with a needle. This procedure restores a volume deficit under the eye, it does not necessarily correct dark circles or improve skin texture and quality. This procedure lasts approximately 1 year, depending on how your body metabolizes the product.
